We had a young man named Cole as our driver and he said his family had lived in Anchorage for multiple generations. He was very engaging and told us a lot of tidbits about the Anchorage area and Alaska. At Earthquake Park he pointed out the path beyond the parking lot where the land had dropped in 1964, and told about a canceled basketball game that saved people from being at the nearby high school during the earthquake. He drove around the Lake Hood airport and told interesting info about the floatplanes and about teenagers getting pilot licenses. But it was basically just a drive around town for an hour for $20 per person.

A fun tour with a great guide, Miss Alaska. She had lots of interesting information to share with us, even serenaded us with fun songs. Great way to spend the morning!
