Anchorage Trolley Tour

Overview

Hop aboard a red trolley in downtown Anchorage in front of the Visitor Information Center. Trolleys leave every hour, giving you some flexibility in your sightseeing schedule. The trolley covers 15 miles over the course of an hour.

Pass through the city’s historic neighborhoods as your guide points out interesting trivia. Watch seaplanes make splash landings on Lake Hood and Lake Spenard, & travel through Earthquake Park to see the damages caused by one of the most powerful recorded earthquakes in North American history.

You'll also see the historic Alaska Railroad, Westchester Lagoon and maybe even some crossing moose. Your tour ends back at the departure point. Make use of your complimentary coupon book when you explore Anchorage on your own!

This was a great way to get a lot of information about anchorage. The service and booking was great and the tour guide really knew there stuff.

The tour was fine. The guide as very knowledgeable and funny. She knew the history of the city and told interesting stories about her experiences living in Alaska, including surviving the big earthquake that hit the city in 1964. The tour was about an hour and we thought that $20/pp was a lot to charge for a drive around the city

I arrived in Anchorage and wanted to do the recommended Trolley tour! Donna out driver/guide was a previous teacher and gave us the best history lesson of the area which was witty, factual and impressive. Her information rolled off her tongue and had the bus laughing, gasping and impressed! Only about an hour long so you can still do a lot more exploring. Highly recommended.
