Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where you’ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

We had the most amazing family trip and Tony was our guide. Such a knowledgeable likable guy. The sites were breathtaking and his explanation of the landscape on the drive was so intriguing. Antelope Canyon is just unbelievable, I highly recommend this trip to anyone, it was an easy hike for my 10 year old and he was just amazed by the trip. Thank you for such amazing memories and knowledge.

This tour was top notch. Our guide, Cory, was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The trip out to the sites from Flagstaff is very long - 2 hours plus. We made plenty of bathroom stops - something that can be lacking on other tours. Cory provided great commentary during the trip. The sites were beautiful - although it was extremely hot. Cory provided plenty of cold water, wet towels to put around our necks, and umbrellas. The tour was arranged so we visited Horseshoe Bend first, earlier in the day since the hike out was longer and unshaded. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the view and take pictures. We visited the Glen Canyon Dam after Horseshoe Bend and had lunch. Lunch was very good and plenty of food: large sandwiches, chips, fresh fruit and pasta salad and soft drinks, served on nice plates - not paper! We then headed to Antelope Valley which was the highlight of the trip. It was during the hottest part of the day but once we were down in the slot canyon, it was quite pleasant. Our Navajo guide did a great job and took great pictures for us. There is a lot of climbing up and down stairs/ladders so I wouldn’t recommend for those who cannot navigate steeps stairs. There are also some very tight places you need to navigate. This tour was one of the best I’ve ever done and I highly recommend it! Bravo!

This trip is fabulous, but don't go in July. It's 4 hours of driving for 2 - 3 hours of viewing but so worth the experience. I loved seeing the landscape, so I was happy. The guides at Antelope Canyon were extremely helpful when I became sick in the canyon and saw that someone was with me every inch of the way until we were back up. There appeared to be two people in our group who got sick; me (the oldest) and a young man about 10 or 11 (the youngest). Very large people, both by width and height, will have a difficult time getting through the canyon.
