What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Such an informative, exquisite, fun day celebrating our moms birthday! PJ was our tour guide and made it such an enjoyable experience! He was so knowledgeable about so much more than just Horseshoe Bend. He was funny, friendly, and had so many good stories and information to share. We got to stop by trading posts and see the Glen Canyon Dam and walk across the bridge after lunch (so yummy and great quality)! They were accommodating to allergies ahead of time and provided us with tons of friendly snacks and gluten free bread. We got so much more than we bargained for. We unfortunately had the Antelope canyon portion canceled because of extreme high winds and sand storms that picked up through the day. Yet we felt so satisfied from the day and they did refund a portion of our tour no questions asked, before we even got back to the office! Such a special fun day and so much context that we took with us for the GC the next day. Thanks to PJ!!

Comfortable bus ride(they serve water and snacks) Tour Guide Milton treasure chest of stories (both informational and entertaining) Toilet breaks are customized because Milton finds clean bathrooms for us. Horseshoe bend walk was short and self guided, beautiful nature carved horse shoe like waterway for the Colorado River. Healthy and local lunch at the Glen Canyon Dam(picnic style) Marvel at the lower Antelope Canyon (guided by a local Navajoan) I think this is the best in the tour. Its really something spectacular to experience this. Steep metal staircase. Take your time climbing up and down because the canyon is amazingly beautiful. This cannot be a random chaos, iā€™m in awe of Gods creation.
