What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Booked this tour and it so happened to take place one day after the Thanksgiving snow storm. Was decided last minute that we could go. Tour includes Horseshoe Bend, lunch and Antelope Canyon (we went to lower Antelope) and we were happy that we booked a tour vs. taking our rental car over the still snowy plateau down to the city of Page. Enjoyed the views at Horseshoe Bend but highlight was walking the slot canyon at Lower Antelope. The Navajo guide was friendly, pointed us to all the carved faces / shapes in the canyon and made sure everyone had time to take plenty of pictures. I am a DSLR enthusiast and this was a great opportunity to try different settings with my camera to make for amazing photos. Our guide and driver Chelsea was amazing and got us everywhere safely and in time. One of the advantages going with a tour was that we had a guaranteed time to visit the canyon so all was hassle free. What a cool day!

Mat, our tour guide, was very good at explaining the geology of the land to and from Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. He kept things interesting on the reservation, with his knowledge of the tribes. He also let us know what to expect at horseshoe bend and antelope canyon. Overall it was a great experience.
