2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

This was a great way to see both Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Instead of driving my family, I was able to sit with them and enjoy the ride. The day started out in their office in Flagstaff, easy to find, plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and engaging, offering us coffee and muffins upon our arrival. We departed on time in a large modified touring van, seating our group of 14 comfortably. Dan (our tour guide) pointed out several other sites and facts about the area while driving us up to Page. He was knowledgeable about the terrain as well as the people living there. And painted an accurate picture of what to expect at each stop along the way. He assisted in taking pictures, answered all our questions, and ensured everyone was properly hydrated. *For those who haven't been to AZ before, hydration is VERY important. The altitude is high and the humidity is almost nonexistent. The air will dry your mouth and skin out much quicker than expected. You will probably get winded faster than normal. But nothing we couldn't handle with proper pacing, thanks to Dan for the guidance. Overall, we would highly recommend this adventure for anyone wanting to see these sights, especially for the first time. The stress-free time I was able to spend traveling with my family is priceless.

Evan was our tour guide for the day. He was awesome and super knowledgable. I didn't have my rental car yet, so it was nice to have a pick up and drop off at the hotel. Lunch, snacks, & drinks were provided. I'd say that not having to drive and for someone to tell you all the important info you needed or wanted to know pretty much seals the deal for you right there! So, just book it....you won't regret it! It was some of the best money I've ever spent. Worth every penny, and that's not including all of my amazing photos! Thanks again Evan!
