Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.

Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

This was a very good tour, particulary the canyons. We were in a small group of 11 people and we took a short drive out of Page before taking a left turn off road just pass Horseshoe Bend. After a dusty, bumpy 10-15 minute ride we arrived at one of the canyons (not Antelope) and then had a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance. The guide gave us some background on the slot canyon and some warnings on snakes, spiders etc, and took us through the canyon and out the other side, its not very long, (less than 1/4 mile) but totally spectacular! Because we were a small group it was easy to explore on our own and easy to take the pictures we wanted as well, it was seriously impressive! The guide left us on our own to explore and make our way back through the canyon in our own time, which was plenty, we will not forget this place in a hurry. I was really looking forward to seeing Horseshoe Bend, but was left slightly disappointed by the experience, again we went on to private land and had a short drive and walk to to the viewpoints. My problem with it was it gave a slightly side on view rather than the full Horseshoe that you see in all the pictures, it was still a good experience but we paid $10 the following day at the tourist site to see the full on view. Other than that this was a very good tour if slightly expensive.

We chose this tour based on photos of the sites and good reviews. All in all we were not disappointed. While there is hotel pickup, they do encourage you to meet at their office. There is a small sign for parking which is available on the side of the building opposite the market. Pre-packageD donuts or pastry are available. A lunch, snacks and drinks are provided so you wonā€™t go hungry. There is a lot of driving on this tour. The guide pointed out several sites along the way but much of the time she played nice background music. We had taken a tour with another company earlier and learned so much more about the terrain and area so we did not mind the music. As for the sites, Horseshoe Bend is lovely but be prepared for a walk to the site. It is doable but at this time it is not a packed surface. Lunch at Glen Dam is also nice. No tour so you check out the info center on your own. Then it was off to Antelope Canyon for the highlight of the day. This tour is on Navajo land is run by them. We were fortunate to get Rose as our guide and she was wonderful. She let us take our time (fortunately we were the last sub-group on the 12:30 tour so we had that luxury) and she pointed out the great photo opts and took pictures of individuals at scenic points. The canyon is a site to behold, unlike any site weā€™d seen. You do have to descend via narrow steps/ladders quite a bit into the canyon. Nice coffee available at the snack bar at the end of the tour. The guide was mindful of bathroom needs. The tour may seem pricey but it was definitely worth.
