What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Our guide was Jennifer Barnes with Grand Canyon Adventures, everyone in my family LOVED her! She was so knowledgeable, prepared, fun, and respectful. Jen knows all the insider secrets! We had a big family (7) with 3 kids, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents. We had AMAZING tours, downtime when we wanted/needed it, saw the sites, wildlife, and great food ( : Jen kept us on track and looked out for us like we were her family. Thank you Jen from Rich and Irene. We highly recommend and when we come back we will ask for Jen again for sure : )

We booked this last minute because we could not get in for Grand Canyon until the next day. It was a beautiful day to explore Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, and Lower Antelope Canyon. Our guide, Drew, was very informative about the state, the area, the people, and was excellent at setting expectations and managing the schedule so we could get to everything. Picnic lunch was just right and there was plenty of snacks and bottled water. Pick up and drop off at our Flagstaff location was a plus that allowed us time to just enjoy. Would totally do this again with this company.

We enjoy taking tours in different cites we travel and we feel Maggie was the best guide weā€™ve ever encountered. She talked to our group the entire drive and found her knowledge about Arizona informative and detailed; it helped us understand the state and Navaho reservation. We started the tour at their office in Flagstaff then drove to Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam for lunch, then Antelope Canyon. It was a super chill day made better by Maggieā€™s commentary along the way.
