What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Great tour, well worth it. A must-see for people visiting Arizona. The tour guide was massively knowledgeable, the lunch was great and snacks all day long. Awesome time!

Family from abroad heard about Antelope Canyon so as the "guide" I put together a trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. The town of Page in Arizona is closest to Antelope Canyon so we picked the Lower Antelope Canyon to visit and then to Horseshoe Bend nearby on our way back to the South Rim. The parking lot was under construction but there is a pickup point where you can pay to take a shuttle to the parking lot. In a few months, it should be completed with more amenities. From the parking lot, there is quite a walk to get to Horseshoe Bend. Not recommended for someone in a wheelchair or not in shape for a undulating walk. Maybe the improvements will take care of that. Check before you go. It is definitely so worth the walk.

This tour was awesome from start to finish! The forecast called for rain so I was nervous the tour would be cancelled, but Grand Canyon Adventures called to rearrange the order of our day to see Lower Antelope Canyon before rain could potentially close it (it only lightly rained). Our canyon tour guide taught us how to adjust settings on our phones for high quality photos and also took pics of us in popular spots. I so appreciate that! Lunch was picnic style and delicious. Horseshoe Bend was so windy but worth it! And the GCA tour guides were phenomenal! Great conversationalists, so knowledgeable, constantly aware and caring for their guests! I highly recommend this tour!
