Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change.
We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies.
Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change.
Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations.
Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy.

The same cancellation policy applies to cancellations due to flight or train delays.

Seeing the Northern Lights was way more spectacular than we expected. But the planning and carrying out of the tour only enhanced our experience. Michi had told us when he would arrive and came at that time. He explained what would occur. On arriving at the lodge, he explained the layout and when we would be leaving. There were drinks and snacks available and an indoor bathroom. He made suggestions on where to watch outside and alerted us when the viewing was optimal. He offered to take a picture of us with the lights for a small fee. The lights were amazing, but that was up to nature, not the tour. We left at the stated time and were returned to our hotel. This was a wonderful experience, enhanced by the organization and carrying out of a great plan. We recommend this tour to everyone.

Very cozy lodge and our guide was very nice. We waited until very late (nearly 2am) and finally saw some northern light. Thanks to the guide who immediately notified us when the aurora showed up.

OMG! Us what this experience is! I more than highly recommend this and Husky Lodge, I say PUT THIS ON YOU ABSOLUTE MUST DO ACTIVITY! Michi is such a gracious and caring man! He explains some of his history in mushing and running the Iditarod twice and his championship; he also correctly point out exactly where to look. His lodge is warm and inviting. He and his wife serve cookies and hot drinks while we thaw out in this winter home. Of course there is no guarantee that the lights will show up but his location is the best! We tried on our own two nights in a row at recommended areas with no success; DO NOT HESITATE to book online or call him!
