Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change.
We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies.
Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change.
Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations.
Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy.

The same cancellation policy applies to cancellations due to flight or train delays.

It was an amazing experience, the guy from the tour and his wife are amazing hostes too, their knowledge about the sky, the equipment to take the picture and to monitoring the norther lights is so good, the cabin is cozy, the coffee was good, and the view was amazing

My wife and I were in Fairbanks and looked for a remote location to view the northern lights. Michi’s lodge was the perfect place, which was located in a remote area away from Fairbanks so no light pollution was seen. Road conditions were quite difficult when we were there but Michi and his wife picked us up from Fairbanks and drove us safely to and from the lodge. The lodge had two floors and we waited around on the second floor which was warm and comfortable with couches and tables. Cookies, coffee/hot chocolate, and hot water were provided in the waiting area. The large outdoor balcony was perfect to step out to view the lights and when it god too cold (it was -35F) I could quickly warm back up. I went two days as Mother Nature didn’t cooperate the first night but luckily we were able to spot the lights the second day. All around excellent tour, highly recommend!

Stucked in a crowded lodge watching TV. We should have gone with other tour that went North of Fairbanks and they saw Northern lights.

We are sorry that you did not have a comfortable stay due to the crowded room.Customers who had booked for the 28th, when the weather was bad, wanted to change to the 30th, （when the weather forecast was relatively good.） Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee the Northern Lights sightings, because it is a natural phenomenon. I hope you had at least a great overall trip to Alaska.
