Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change.
We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies.
Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change.
Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations.
Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy.

The same cancellation policy applies to cancellations due to flight or train delays.

This tour is available for a minimum of two people.
Pickup services are available only for major hotels within Fairbanks city. Please note that we are unable to provide pickup services from Airbnb or similar accommodations.
Arrival at the lodge will be around 10:30 PM, with the stay lasting until 2:00 AM.
There are about 10 gradual steps to the entrance.

Very beautiful lodge! Comfortable seating inside with big viewing windows & deck with seating outside. Ground transportation comfortable. Host was welcoming and attentive. We were happy we got to see the auroras through out our visit!

Nice lodge that has plenty of space inside and outside. Very reliable and dependable owner. Didn't see any auroras due to the weather but still enjoyed ourselves.

We were picked up right on time at the meeting point (Walmart parking lot), since we were in an air bnb, and after the pickups were done, we went to the lodge which was about 35 mins away. Michi and his wife were so wonderful, providing information about how the aurora works. He was watching for the activity the whole time we were there which was over four hours. He would tell us OK now go outside. It should be happening in the south sky or the east sky. The lights were pretty minimal, but we still were able to get some good shots, even though the sky clouded up. It was kind of amazing that even with a cloudy sky, we could still get some decent shots. We were very impressed with Michi because he didn't stop working to try to get us shots. The whole time we were there, even telling us we should stay an extra 15 or 20 minutes because the activity was better. He was incredibly friendly, as was his wife, and it was really interesting to talk to him about his activity in the Iditarod. The lodge was comfortable, there were cookies and chocolates, as well as hot chocolate, coffee and water. There was plenty of room for all of us, I would say there were probably about 16 or 17 people there. We would definitely come back here again, one of the main reasons is Maike was so wonderful and when the lights were good, the viewing was excellent around the property of the lodge.
