Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change.
We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies.
Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change.
Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations.
Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy.

The same cancellation policy applies to cancellations due to flight or train delays.

Michi really wanted us to see the auroras, he did everything to inform us, including stopping the van on the way back when the auroras appeared.

The host, Michi was very responsive about arranging a location for pickup, the ride was smooth and the cabin was comfortable to hang out at in between waiting for the aurora to show itself, with coffee, hot tea and cookies available to keep us warm. We unfortunately only saw a little sliver on the horizon before the fog rolled in but Michi had videos we watched about the aurora and talked a bit about where to go and how to check for the best time to go try again another day. We left our tripod in the van afterwards and Michi met us a couple days later at the pickup point to deliver it to us - very much appreciated that extra level of customer service.
