Really nice day! The tour is well organized and the tour guides are very nice, knowledgeable and professional. The train ride was good, the wildlife conservation center was great and the rafting near Spencer glacier and down the river amazing. All in all a very memorable day.

We had a great time in the Glacier Kayaking and Scenic train tour! Such beautiful scenery to take in and enjoy. The train ride was great with accommodating passengers to goto the viewing deck to enjoy the views while a guide gave you historical commentary. The tour guides for the kayaking trip were super great with understanding everyone's different abilities and level of experience. Had a few hiccups with my kayak that was fixable and they were good about trying fix. They even served us Salmon Bake for lunch that was absolutely fantastic!! So yummy!! It was definitely a chilly one so if I reccomend to anyone is to bring a winter hat due to the wind blowing off the glaciers causing a cold breeze. We loved our trip and hope to get up here and come again soon!!! Thank you!!

What an awesome way to see the Spencer Glacier. We boarded the Alaska Railroad train for a very scenic and relaxing ride to the Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop. On the train, we met Brooke, who was one of the river guides. She was very friendly, helpful and informative. Once at the Spencer Glacier stop, we disembarked. and after a short bus ride through the wilds of Alaska, we arrived at the beach, where Personal Flotation Devices were waiting. After a short safety briefing, we boarded our rafts, and headed into the 34 deg water where we got close and personal with the icebergs floating in the lake. Robert, our guide for the trip, was able to give us lots of information about the area, and the glacier. Entering the swifter water of the Placer River, we began our 7.5 mile float down to the take out point. Along the way, we saw beaver dams, avalanche areas, and a few hand build bridges.
