Join an experienced naturalist guide on a wildlife safari tour of Yellowstone National Park with a focus on the geology, wildlife, and natural history of Yellowstone National Park.

The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park. This wildlife safari will make frequent stops as opportunities for wildlife viewing present themselves.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

In one day, we were able to cover a considerable amount of Yellowstone in a leisurely but well paced tour guided by our superbly knowledgeable and passionate Dave Green. He is a wealth of information and was able to maneuver us to the sites in the most efficient sequence. We saw incredible views and wildlife. I feel that we were able to get a complete feel and experience for the park in a comfortable vehicle equipped with thoughtful snacks, souvenir water bottle and a pleasant picnic lunch. We will certainly include Dave and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris in our future trips.

The tour was fantastic! Sarah was a very knowledgeable guide, and great at spotting animals. She was very agreeable to stopping whenever someone asked, and very patient with several unavoidable delays.

Actually we booked 2 trips….Teton and Yellowstone. Both Jeffrey and Dwayne were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We did not have the best of weather, but felt they went out of their way to make the best of the day. We saw plenty of wildlife, and of course all the highlights in both parks. The pickup service along with a quick breakfast and great lunch made for an easy, relaxed day for my wife and I.
