Ran with a driver and guide. Found this better than the driver & guide in one., as it is easier to ask questions when the bus is moving without distracting the driver. Our guide was Ken, he was brilliant he knew every thing you needed to know about Chicago. At every stop he told you the best attractions , the best bars and restaurants. We took Ken up on a couple of these recommendations - Gibson's & Portillo's both were amazing. You can get on and off throughout the day and buy a 2-3 day ticket if you want. Absolutely recommend this tour, do it early in your visit to get the most out of it.

We do these hop on hop off tours in every city they're offered. Never been disappointed. Usually, 1 day isn't long enough, so we opted for 2 days. It was a little too long for Chicago. We kept walking back to our hotel (Westin River North), rather than waiting for a bus. We could see more that way. We even walked back from the Navy Pier. It's a good way to see what you want to get off to see and what is just okay to drive past. We really enjoyed it.

The best way to see the sights is to take a bus 🚌 tour. We got the two day tickets 🎫 which includes the architectural boat 🚣‍♀️ tour. When we got on the bus after two stops we had to change buses. We had a different tour guide on the bus 🚌 he was very pleasant and funny 😄. It’s worth doing and the best way to see the sights. You need to go upstairs on the bus . The weather was great when we did it.
