I wasnt overwhelmed by San Francisco, either its architecture, bus tour or its food, but the visit to Alcatraz was a highlight of the holiday and cant be recommended strongly enough.

We were only in town for 2days, so this tour was great we got to see all the highlights. Get there early and get on the first busses. Our first bus tour guide was Great! Mark (I think) he was full of info and tidbits about the City that's not on the recordings. The rest of guides didn't speak.

Absolutely worth it. Learned a great deal about San Fran. Tour guides are very knowledgeable. Several tours are included in the package including night tour and few walking tours. You get 24 hours to do all the tours expect Alcatraz. You can do Alcatraz tour on a different day. One thing we did not get to pick was the ferry time to go Alcatraz. It still worked out for us. If you plan to go on this tour, please call ahead and find out the time for your Alcatraz tour ahead of time.
