Our tour guide Jacklyn was a total rock star. To try and pick one fav would be difficult. The water falls are breathtaking but the valley is the most humbling site. The sacred land being protected by the residents is an awesome to see.

We really enjoyed our full day tour around the entire island. Derek was our fantastic tour guide/driver. He had a great sense of humor and kept things lively and fun, even for so many hours and even in the pouring rain at the volcano! Although he is not a native Hawaiian, his knowledge, love of this island and it's history were authentic. He kept us on a tight schedule, but it was totally understandable and worth it, when we arrived at our final destination, in time for a beautiful sunset view. The only thing, I can think of that might have made this a bit better, would be for the company to consider contracting with a restaurant closer to our lunch time destination, for the bento boxes to have been warmer and more freshly made than the ones picked up before the tour started in the morning. It still tasted good, but it would have made it a little better. Snacks and drinks were appreciated throughout the day.

This is a great way to see a little bit of everything the Big Island has to offer. You will not be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed Mai's information as we moved about the island. Mai is professional and answered any questions we had. This is the second Wasabi tour I've taken and no doubt a top notch tour company to use on the Big Island. Mahalo Mai and the team at Wasabi.
