Nahuku - Thurston Lava Tube

Hilo

Drive through historical Downtown Hilo, the largest city on the island.

Rainbow Falls

This 80-foot falls plunges over a natural lava cave and into the Wailuku River below. On a sunny day, rainbows appear in the mist of the falls, making for a magical view.

Akaka Falls State Park

This towering 442-foot (135-meter) waterfall plummets into a lush ravine at the center of a state park. You’ll enjoy a short walk through the vegetation for an up close view and plenty of photo ops.

Waipi'o Valley

The views stop you in your tracks at the Waipio Valley lookout, where a dramatic backdrop of lush cliffs drops into the sparkling blue ocean

Parker Ranch

The entire trip was amazing. Drue, the guide was funny and gave his all to make the trip the best. It was surreal to stand on the edge of a live volcano. Drue’s knowledge of the volcanic history of the island seemed limitless. All of the stops were great though due to it being later in the year, the lighting wasn’t the best but that was just because of the short day. Drue, thanks for a great meal, great trip and finding your way through the marathon route to come and pick us up. Mahalo!!!

BEST TOUR EVER! Hands down, Dreu was the best tour guide I have ever had! He is so knowledgeable about the Hawaiian history and very funny. Even his dad jokes. Lol. Derek was highly informative about sights, history and culture of the island. The unexpected stop at Punalu'U Bake shop for best malasadas was a bonus and with coffee fortified us until lunch. He kept us moving and to his credit the day was full, smooth and on schedule. Expect his quirky sense of jokes. lol
