This 80-foot falls plunges over a natural lava cave and into the Wailuku River below. On a sunny day, rainbows appear in the mist of the falls, making for a magical view.

Akaka Falls State Park

This towering 442-foot (135-meter) waterfall plummets into a lush ravine at the center of a state park. You’ll enjoy a short walk through the vegetation for an up close view and plenty of photo ops.

Waipi'o Valley

This is a long day- BUT worth it. Dreu B. Was an absolute master in keeping us entertained and informed. So much knowledge about the Island and culture. Also of note the vehicle was super comfy, and there were plenty of restroom breaks! The sites and views were simply stunning. Amazing experience!

We did this tour on Nov 10. Jaclyn was our tour guide & she was amazing! Super knowledgeable about the history & culture of the Big Island, as well as the flora & fauna! She reminded our group to keep hydrated & pop ears at various elevations! We have been on many tours all over the world & she truly was one of the best guides ever! Loved her sense of humour & enthusiasm! Tour was great & highly recommend as you see how geographically diverse this island is!

Mia gave us a fantastic all day tour. She was friendly, highly knowledgeable, organized, and prepared for anything we encountered during the day. The pupu platter tour of the island, this tour gives a nice sample of all the big island has to offer. Highly recommend!
