My husband and I really enjoyed this zipline adventure. Our guide Nick was very personable and knowledgeable. He and Brett (the other staff member who assisted our group on the zipline course) were so informative and made us feel so comfortable. I have a major fear of heights but I was totally fine with the ziplines. They had us progress from the shortest to the longest lines and we had so much fun!!! Nick and Brett pointed out so many trees and plants and fruits and Nick had lots of stories about the island. He gave us guava and strawberry guava to try and honeysuckle to taste. The food was great and there was more than enough to eat. The "hike" to the waterfall was more of a stroll along a short trail but the "dip" portion was very refreshing and a great picture opportunity. Overall, we would highly recommend it.

I'll preface this by saying that I'm definitely not an adventurous or daring person by any stretch. And I still had a phenomenal time! My friend wanted to do the zipline part and I was mainly interested in swimming in a waterfall, but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. The guides are phenomenal and really make this an incredible experience. Our guides, Nick and Curtis were unparalleled! They were great at reading the group- for example, they knew I was pretty terrified and never made me go first for any of the ziplines or rope bridges. They were also so knowledgeable about the island and our surroundings, so we learned a lot about the area- things that only locals would know. Both guides were very entertaining too. I fully expected to spend most of the zipline portion being scared out of my mind but their humor really helped put me at ease! This tour was so scenic- the day was filled with gorgeous locations: the forest where you zipline, the lunch spot had a breathtaking view of the ocean and some cliffs, and the hike to get to the waterfall was beautiful! Also, this was the second tour that I've taken with Hawaii Forest and Trail (first one was the Epic Island Volcano your) and I continue to be impressed. Their service is amazing and I trust the company and felt completely safe with them. Lastly, the waterfall portion was truly amazing! I would recommend bringing water shoes because it is a bit rocky beneath the water and you can ruin your pedicure if you're not careful!

We booked the zip and dip excursion. When you book it says 8am-4pm and they do offer transportation. The info you receive shows those hours and also states arrive 30 minutes early. Come to find out the hours include transportation, which we did not use. We also arrived back to the office at 1:45pm. Certainly not the 4pm we expected. The Zipline experience was pretty cool. We have been a few times before and this was probably the best. Other than the Zipline they have some bridges and a repel down at the end. There is a quick stop in the middle for a snack and drink. The guys were great and funny. They also took a lot of pics. You will have to pay extra for them. About $10 pp for the pics. After the Zipline we jumped back in the 6x6 which also pretty fun, and went to a picnic area overlooking the Pololu Valley. Sandwiches chips drinks and cookies were provided. Everything was good and the view was amazing! From there drive down the road and started the hike to the waterfall. It was uphill, but only for a short time. Bottled water, towels, backpacks and walking sticks all provided. The waterfall was pretty and the water was cool. Overall for the price and amount of time I would probably skip the ā€œdipā€. Can’t say it’s worth about $100 pp. What to bring: wear tennis shoes for the Zipline. Pack water type shoes for the dip. You can go barefoot but the rocks can be slippery. You can take a bag with you. When you get to the Zipline they take your bag and bring it back later for the dip.
