I was stunned at the excellence and knowledge of our guide. I have read several books about the Civil Rights movement, and I could hardly believe that I was standing in places I have stared at photographs of! I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Great tour! Clay was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Birmingham. We took this tour on a hot day, and he made sure to keep us in the A/C or shade as much as possible, which was greatly appreciated.

I cannot speak highly enough about Clay and about this tour. It is one thing to read about the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham, it is another to go to a multitude of spots, stand on the ground, and hear the stories. Clay is exceptionally knowledgeable (and personable) and offers visits to places you would not ordinarily see. His dedication is evident. He is very attuned to the needs of his travelers. I took two tours with him, and watched this attention and professionalism in action. I would recommend him to any and all, and hope to go back.
