Clay surely knows his information, excellent history telling ability, his singing is questionable though! A must tour to take in Birmingham!

We travelled through Birmingham specifically to see Civil Rights historic sites, and I was planning on just winging it and taking my girls around on my own. Then I saw RCT on a search and decided to book it. We are a family of 5 and Clay didn’t have enough room for us, but I persuaded him to let my husband follow behind him in our van. He was SO accommodating and when he was giving information in the car, we just called my husband and had him on speaker phone. There is NO WAY I would have been able to portray the movement events in Birmingham to my girls the way his tour did. My girls are 8,10, and 12, and yes, some of what he described was intense, but it is what they need to know, and what schools many times leave out or airbrush. I HIGHLY recommend. Thank you, Clay! Second picture is Saw’s BBQ which is a perfect lunch after a 3 hour tour.

We wanted a great view of the Civil Rights history of Birmingham. We got that and so much more. Arriving a day early, we'd already visited the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, so we had a good start on the local history. Clay supercharged it. He's a wonderful story teller who has real depth to his research. The way he sets the scene and tells a story is very moving. Facts come alive. Most noteably, he has incredible empathy and passion for the people so violenty and unjustly impacted by Jim Crow Laws. I've had a number of guided tours but this has to be one of the best. I would take the tour a second time (or try one of his other tours) when we visit Birmingham again.
