Black Cat Historical Day Tour

Overview
Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War.  We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history.  From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

We went to the night ghost tour. Daniel was our guide and he was excellent! Here struck the perfect balance between historical info and ghostly happenings! It was a great tour that went by so fast. We were able to ask questions and Daniel seemed to know everything about Salem, the witch trials, and haunted investigations. It was informative, fun, and spooky all rolled into one. We've been on several of the Salem tours and this ranks as one of the best.

Daniel did a great job of capturing the attention of everyone on the tour. He told stories that were interesting and gave a different thought of some of the buildings that we did not realize was haunted. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was phenomenal. I learned so much as was thoroughly entertained. Our guide Dan was a master at building the scene and taking us through the events that lead up to and throughout the trials. At times I felt like I was reliving the events. I had goosebumps on more than one occasion. We then took a trip down throughout Salem and visited many sites with so much beautifully haunted history. The events that took place in this small township, are many and Dan touched on so much. I will be taking the day tour next time we’re in Salem. So much fun and so many memories made. I cannot recommend this enough. It deserves all the praise it receives.
