We booked a tour and unfortunately it became too dangerous to walk to the waterfalls due to the sudden lightening. Keith immediately accommodated us by switching the itinerary to a drive on the Parkway. He took us up high to see the foilage. By the time we got up the mountain the rain subsided long enough for us to see amazing sights and colors. It was a fabulous day in spite of the unfortunate weather conditions. We highly recommend Tumblestone Tours and would happily use them again.

Keith was awesome! It was my girlfriend and I's first time visiting Asheville and the views from the Blueridge Parkway were just stunning. I really liked how Keith blended his deep knowledge of the history of the area and the diverse flora to make for a really educational and fun experience. Halfway through the tour I let it slip to Keith that I was planning on proposing during the waterfall hike and he was so thoughtful in finding the perfect scenic spot for us to have that special moment. (Luckily she said yes or it would have been a long hike back!) Keith was kind enough to sent me pictures after the hike and I'm so grateful to him for that. I cannot recommend this hike anymore highly, a truly great experience and the best way to learn about the beautiful mountains surrounding Asheville!

What a surprise that you chose to ask " the question " at the waterfalls. It was a pleasure and an honor to be part of that day. I am also glad that you enjoyed the tour. Best of luck in the future!
