Bob was an exception guide for our first visit to Louisville and The Bourbon Trail. Louisville and the distilleries are fortunate to have such an ambassador. He is super knowledgeable as well as personable. He went out of his way to ensure all our questions were answered with regard to bourbon, the business of bourbon and Louisville. Great experience!

Our guide was Bob Young and he was fabulous. He was knowledgeable about bourbon and Louisville/Bardstown/Kentucky history. When we had a little extra time between tastings he took us to a small distillery not on our agenda for an extra tasting. Bob also went the extra mile when one of our distilleries was unexpectedly closed during a labor strike and stopped at a hole in the wall liquor store an bought two bottles from that distillery and we had our own private tasting. He made sure we didn’t miss a thing. We can’t wait to make a return visit and have Bob show us around again.

Bob was a WONDERFUL tour guide!! Very knowledgeable about Bourbon as well as Louisville! My husband and Bob hit it off and talked like “old friends “ throughout the entire trip! We drove through the closed Jim Beam property which was delightful. We went on tours and tastings to Bardstown Distillery, Maker’s Mark, and Limestone. We had lunch at a local restaurant and enjoyed the local cuisine. On our way back to our hotel, Bob took us on a tour through the “old” Louisville neighborhood and saw the most spectacular historic homes and churches. Such beautiful architecture and rich history here!! What a great way to have a safe and enjoyable bourbon tasting experience and tour through the old Louisville area!! Thank you so very much!!
