Bright Angel Trail
Bright Angel Trail offers a wealth of day hiking opportunities on this tour! The trail switchbacks down from the South Rim Village to Mile and a Half Rest House, then 3 Mile Rest House, then Indian Garden at 4.5 miles and Plateau Point at 6 miles. So this tour can be done as a 3-mile, 6-mile, 9-mile, or 12-mile round trip hike. For ambitious travelers, Plateau Point (12 miles round trip) offers the most "bang for the buck" with stunning views of the Inner Gorge and the Colorado River. Indian Garden (9 miles round trip) is another excellent longer option with a shaded oasis with a spring-fed creek for a picnic lunch. And for less ambitious travelers, Mile and a Half and 3 Mile rest houses offer fantastic hikes.

Our tour guide Stephen was excellent. He was extremely knowledgable of the Grand Canyon and was motivating my wife and I the whole time. This was our first ever hike and he made the experience unforgettable. Thank you!

Great first hike in Grand Canyon. Our guide was Chris E, who was fabulous. He answered all of our dumb questions, was extremely knowledgeable, and had his eye on safety the whole time. We hiked in the midst of an extreme heat wave and he was very accommodating with water and carrything things that became to uncomfortable for us. If you get Chris as you're guide, you are in luck! He brought us to a great lunch spot on the trail and served us fruit, brie, and candied bacon. I mean, WOW!

If I could give this company more than 5 stars, I would. Shayne was our guide and he was more than wonderful. First, he communicated with us prior to our trip via email and text, letting us know what to expect, what to bring and to answer our questions. On the day of the hike, we had several morning mishaps that caused us to be late - we were doing a private hike so thankfully we werenā€™t inconveniencing any other guests. Shayne was patient, understanding and flexible. Once we got started, he moved at our pace, pointed out all the wonderful things on the trail, took our pictures, took breaks when we needed and told us all about the Grand Canyon both the rim and the bottom. He was also a pleasure to be around - just an all around nice guy. He brought us snacks and a fabulous lunch - amazing sandwiches, chips, cookies. He also had a remote special place off the trail for lunch. I highly recommend this company if you want to hike the Bright Angel Trail. Ask for Shayne if you can. We will definitely try to hike with him again when we return to the Grand Canyon. Thank you!
