Brooklyn Food Tour: The Flavors of Williamsburg

Overview

This walking food tour is a window into what makes this neighborhood so special. You'll experience the historic roots of the area at Northside Bakery which specializes in authentic Polish pierogies and desserts. From there, you'll visit the "Best Pizza" shop in town, and have a sit down food and drink stop at Tacombi. The tour ends with a dessert stop, a functioning chocolate factory! Between food stops, your expert guide will show you the sights of the area, including breathtaking waterfront views of the Manhattan Skyline, and narrate the history of one of New York's most colorful neighborhoods.

Walter was lovely. Compared to other food tours it lacked anecdotal/ historical aspect. The food spots we visited were quite different than listed. I understand that they are “subject to change” but we were hoping for a bit more from the places we visited. We still enjoyed our day. Just wouldn’t recommend based on our experience.

Kevin, thank you for providing feedback. As we discussed via email after your tour, it appears there was some confusion around what tour you were booking for. I understand your frustration to feel you didn't visit the stops you were expecting, but the stops you were expecting were for an entirely different tour from a different company. Our tour did operate as advertised and it's unfortunate that this confusion led you to not have a 5-star experience.
