The Brooklyn Navy Yard can be reached by bus, on foot, by bicycle, and via the NYC public ferry system. The NYC ferries and city buses are accessible to people who use wheelchairs and strollers. Take the Astoria line ferry from East 34th Street or Pier 11/Wall Street in Manhattan to the Brooklyn Navy Yard ferry stop. Please plan your trip to the Yard in advance to ensure an early arrival.

GREAT tour, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and warm. Enjoyed all the detailed information he gave us. I was happy to add additional information since I had worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in the 50s.
