Flew from NYC with our 7YO. She loves water rides so we researched Busch Garden’s website what she could do, which rides she was tall enough for, etc. We ended up getting the fast pass on the assumption she’d want to do the water rides over and over. We got there, downloaded the app and navigated to the water rides. Turns out the rides have been closed for WEEKS. The app didn’t say closed — either didn’t give any time or said zero minute wait. (Other rides said closed). This is fraud by omission. No where posted on the website or app a known closure. We never even used the fast pass for ANY rides. The one ride we tried they didn’t accept it. BG was more expensive than Disney and nowhere close to worth it. The staff members sided with us saying how they keep telling management ride status should be posted. If the rides broke down the same day, hey that happens. We get it. But scheduled to be down and you don’t offer that info up? I would have bought animal experiences instead. But instead they’ve alienated customers who will never ever come back and will never recommend to anyone else. Oh and we stopped at a restaurant and they weren’t serving food! Just drinks. (!!!) They had a bunch of oranges and wouldn’t sell us one or put a slice in my daughter’s Shirley temple. I guess that makes sense??? She had a King’s Cake Donut for lunch instead which may have been the highlight of the day.

Went on Wednesday so crowd was minimal. Enjoyed the Elvis show and the Ice Show. Took the train ride to see all the animals. Fun day. Only did one ride - due to motion sickness prone- Cheetah roller coaster and loved it. Line was minimal - maybe 10 minutes. Wish the log ride were open, but it wasn’t. Don’t recommend the meal plan due to restrictions; they will charge you for ā€œextras!ā€
