You'll spend a day exploring the sea caves and rugged Kona coast as well as snorkel Hawaii's best underwater preserve! This tour takes you to the calmest waters on the big island with the most spectacular snorkeling and enjoyable emerald green and cobalt blue ocean water. You will appreciate the fast boat ride to Kealakekua Bay. We bring the snorkel gear and snacks/botttled water. We'll provide snorkeling instruction and flotation noodles for a relaxed snorkel experience. You bring the sunblock, sunglasses, towel and camera! Join us!

What To Expect

Kealakekua Bay

Visit beautiful Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park on the big island of Hawaii. Beneath 600' high cliffs this cobalt blue bay with a palm fringed shoreline gives a very tropical vibe. Once outfitted with snorkel gear and fins you can enjoy swimming above coral gardens and myriads of colorful tropical fish. It's a location considered one of the best snorkeling in all the Hawaiian Islands. Join us!

For the first 15 min we could see many fishes However, the area became so crowded the fish disappeared :( Then there was not so much to see Snacks on the boat were really helpful ^^

Well that's really not how it works... the fish don't go away but maybe you felt like you wished there were fewer other guests enjoying the area too. Glad you joined us for the snacks and the fantastic experience at this premier snorkeling destination in Hawaii.

I thought the manta ray snorkel was the highlight of our trip, but I believe the snorkel tour ties it for first! Our captains/guides were awesome. They didn’t talk so much where you would get annoyed and want to get on with the snorkeling, but they were very efficient and safe getting us out there. The boat ride was a quick 15 minutes out to Captain Cook Monument and then we snorkeled for about 1:15. On the way back they stopped and pointed out grottos, caves, and even Pepe’s face! I also appreciate the guide who answered my 10-year-old daughter’s question about sea urchins and took us to the side of the dock to point out the different kinds! Those little things are what stand out to me. Thank you!

Enjoyable three hours. Great snorkelling spot, complete with Spinner Dolphins and eels. Top guides, too!
