Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

This was my first food & wine tour and this crew did NOT disappoint! Amber was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing. 3 full hours of incredible food, wine, chocolate, and more. I haven't lived in the Monterey area very long, but I never would have discovered any of these awesome little places in Carmel-By-The-Sea if it weren't for this tour. We learned so much about this cute little town's history AND I got to try foods I've never had before :) Anytime we have visitors, I'm taking them on this tour! It's a must whether you are visiting or have lived in the area your whole life. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

We throughly enjoyed this experience, while we were visiting Carmel. Tracy was a wonderful tour guide. She was both educational and very entertaining. She kept the tour on track, while not making you feel rushed, and guided us through may hidden courtyards of downtown that we had not seen before. I would hightly recommend this tour for any group that enjoys food, wine and adventure.

Our guide was Kimberly, she was upbeat, well organized and wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. There were 18 people on the tour from all over and it was interesting to hear their stories. We were taken to several restaurants where food was prepared and ready when we got there.....the small dishes were beautifully displayed with outstanding taste and the accompanying wines complimented nicely. We walked through hidden gardens and learned about Carmel-by-the-Sea. If you are a foodie this is your tour. Luca's, our favorite Italian restaurant...try the homemade pasta, mozzarella stick appetizer and tiramisu. We were even given coupons with discounts to try some restaurants. A great way to explore Carmel-by-the-Sea! Thanks Kimberly!
