Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

We have visited Carmel regularly over the past 8 years and were pleased to discover a new and exciting experience on our recent visit: Carmel Food Tours! We had a terrific and informative guide (Thanks Tracy!) who shared information about Carmel and each of the places we visited or explored (a couple of new to us alleyways). The food and wine samples were all wonderful and we re-visited just about all of them, they were so good. The tour pacing was good and the walking was not overly strenuous. We would definitely do this food tour again and highly recommend it.

It delights us when we are able to share new wonders and the uniqueness of what Carmel has to offer----especially with those who have been regularly coming to the area. Our tasting partners are selectively picked and we are happy to hear that you were able to go back and revisit them at your leisure. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for recognizing Tracy's terrific job!

I have lived in the area (Monterey County) for over 30 years and visited Carmel many, many times... since I was a boy... and I discovered things on this tour (new restaurants just off the "beaten" path; perhaps the last village bookstore on earth; and several byways/paths I'd never been to) under the excellent care of Tracy, our guide. The food and beverages at each stop were superb; the intermezzos (honey shop run by a 15-year-old, and the best little olive oil store ever) gave food for thought and some lifestyle/health enhancements. The group we were with (10 in all) was congenial and, as I say, Tracy did a wonderful job of being helpful in every way, yet never over-bearing. Just do it!

We are happy to hear that we were able to surprise a veteran Carmel visitor with some unexpected stops, secret passageways, and of course, delicious foods and drinks! As you have discovered, we are more than just a food tour. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for recognizing our guide, Tracy. We hope to see you again on one of other tours in the future!

My husband and I had a great time on our tour. Our guide Tracy was a delight. She had lots of interesting information for us and was very pleasant. Our group wasn't too big and there were people of all different ages which was nice. We visited 7 different places including a honey company, a chocolate shop and an olive oil business. The samples were delicious in each place. I had requested the vegetarian option and I was very pleased with the food I was served. I can honestly say that everything was delicious. The weather was perfect that day and the walk not too strenuous at all, in fact it was a very pleasant stroll. Carmel is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon there. Thanks to Tracy for being a fantastic tour guide!
