Sunset Cultural Center

This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

This was my first food tour and what a delight! Staci was a wonderful guide to both Carmel and the various restaurants we visited. From the fist stop at the elegant Anton to our last stop for amazing chocolate - it was a grand experience. When asked what our favorite stop was it was hard to make a decision - they were all fun and tasty in different ways. Keep up the good work!

This tour was a superb experience which exposed us to some fantastic local shops and restaurants. Our guide, Staci, was personable, fun, and extremely knowledgeable. She seemed to take great pride in showcasing not only the local shops and restaurants, but also took time to introduce us to the proprietors and staff. It was like going to visit a friend and having them introduce you to the owners of their favorite hot spots...and then you get to have a little taste of their special treats! I wish it could have gone on even longer, but when the tour ended, Staci happily gave us even more suggestions to continue on. We had plenty of time left in the day to explore more as well as revisit some of our favorite spots on the tour. Highly recommended!

What a great experience! Our group was able to visit seven different eateries. The food variety was good and I would recommend this tour. Watch for uneven walking surfaces. Bonnie was our guide. She was full of enthusiasm and a delight to guide us around this quaint town.
