A harbor tour on the Carrie B is a great way to spend a couple of hours in Fort Lauderdale. It was a little hard to find so leave a little time for that; the directions on their Web site are only from I-95 and our GPS had a hard time finding it from the airport. There's not much on-street parking but the Cheesecake Factory parking garage is a block east and there's another garage in the office building across from the dock - entrance on SE 4th (the Lobster Bar restaurant is in this building.) The boat is comfortable, with plenty of seating inside on the lower deck and outside on the upper deck. The narration is interesting and not too goofy. It's fun seeing all the houses, boats and even the cruise ships at Port Everglades. Snacks and beverages were available, and restrooms were reasonably clean. We saved a couple of bucks by booking online; I showed the email confirmation on my iPad at the dock and had no problems. We really enjoyed the 90 minute tour and thought it was a good value.

There are a few we had to choose from - and we chose this one based on other recommendations here as well as word of mouth. It was easy to reserve a few spots the day before, and very easy to find and board the boat. The prices were very reasonable, and the length of the boat tour was 1.5 hours - not too long or short. The live narration of the cruise was good and peppered with good-natured and genuinely funny commentary. It was easy to get around on the ship, and not too overcrowded, so I was easily able to get plenty of great shots of the beautiful waterways, homes, and other sights along the way. I have no complaints and would recommend this cruise tour to anyone looking for a sightseeing tour without a hassle, or that costs an arm and a leg.
