I had done this cruise previously in 2006 and wanted to share it with friends who were visiting the area. It was just as good as the first time! Plenty of mansions, mega yachts and cruise ships to be seen. The narration is very informative and the amenities (food, non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic drinks, toilets and comfy chairs) make for a very pleasant 1.5 hour cruise. I booked online which made check-in very easy and the price is quite reasonable. You can get souvenir pictures and a key chain that are fun reminders of your tour. A visit to Fort Lauderdale certainly isn't complete without this enjoyable experience.

Comfortable cruising along the waterways in Fort Lauderdale. It was a rainy day in January, but inside the replica paddlewheeler Carrie B was spacious. Excellent narration about the megayachts, megamansions, and points of interest in the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades cruise ship harbor. The only drawback to me was that there was no map or paperwork to show the route of the cruise. . fortunately I had a map provided by the Water Taxi. (a competitive tour that required transfers to see what we saw ) The Carrie B did go out to Port Everglades where we were overwhelmed by the large cruise ships.

We took this cruise at 11 am on Jan. 15, 2015. There was no need to book ahead. We enjoyed seeing all the beautiful homes and mega yachts. The area is beautiful!
