The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

See Yachts and Homes of the Rich and Famous and ships from around the world in Port Everglades. What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

We took the carrie b cruise after returning from a week excursion on a popular cruise line. This was excellent! Our cruise encompassed local historical sites as well as viewing the properties of many "haves" (vs. have nots) along the way. We saw homes of distinction, properties of value, and several multi $100 million yachts. Probably best was the staff on the cruise. They were engaging and informative, with humor and anecdotes. Nice too was that the staff took pictures as we got on and has these ready as remembrances before our tour was finished. We bought several and the owner cut us a great deal. Food was available for purchase on the "cruise", and was not only tasty, but well prepared. This seemed like a family company and thus a family experience. Hughly recommended - worth the value. Buy your pictures and key rings from the cruise. You'll appreciate them for years.

This is a great tour to see all the wildly excessive mansions and yachts that line the intercostal waterways and canals around Fort Lauderdale. The commentary is very entertaining and at times quite funny. The only complaint is that there could be more stories and tales. A few years ago we went on the water taxi and really heard alot of stories but that was dependent on the driver. One reason we took the tour this time vs. the water taxi was that we wanted something that was a set time and with what we figured was a good tour guide. Highly recommended!

My friends and I took the 1:00 PM cruise. It was very interesting to see how some of the 1 percent live. There were houses that we in movies and TV series. They serve adult beverages. Very nice and relaxing 1.5 hour cruise.
