The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

The Carrie B has been operating for many years along the waterways of Fort Lauderdale. The ride is smooth, following the inland waterways and showcasing some of the most expensive homes in the US, let alone Florida. The narrator speaks of the present and past owners and interesting history of many of the waterfront homes visible from the water. Many of these mansions are hardly visible from the street side due to landscaping and the privacy desired by the owners. The story is different along the water because the occupants of the houses want to see the water so they don't do much to obstruct the view. Thus the beautiful views of the homes. There is a bar aboard, with pretty good drinks available as well as some snacks. If you are visiting and want to experience a nice boat ride then I think this is a great choice for an afternoon outing that costs relatively little money. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful tour with Carrie B Cruises. The tour took us through the inter-coastal waterways of Ft. Lauderale. The scenery was beautiful and the mansions were gorgeous! The tour guide and was informative and funny. It was a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. The tour was 1 1/2 and well worth it. I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a mindless and pleasant afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, you HAVE to take this cruise. It was very scenic and they have the most delicious cocktails to serve. It was entertaining, informative and relaxing.
