Our family took this trip during a recent holiday and totally enjoyed it. One of the main reasons we chose this boat was the option of sitting downstairs in the AC section or upstairs. We were worried we would find it too hot but that wasn't the case at all. We spent the trip upstairs under the covered seating section and enjoyed the wonderful breeze and the informative commentary. The boat left on time and we found it a good length - not too long or too short. The waterways are what makes Fort Lauderdale unique so you really want to do a tour like this. They have a snack area downstairs where they serve popcorn - great for the kids. They do take your picture as you board but there is no pressure to buy. Commentary was interesting and lively. Would recommend to others. Tip - if you are really interested in seeing the cruise ships up close you should check to see which ships are in port and choose your tour day accordingly. Also, the boat docks just one block from The Cheesecake Factory. Great for an early evening or late lunch meal.

My wife and I spent an extra day in Ft Lauderdale prior to out cruise on the Independence of the Seas in January 2014. We did some research on harbour cruises ahead of time and chose the Carrie B. We were not disappointed. The boat was easy to find and had a helpful, and courteous crew. We left right on time to see how the other half lives. The captain gave an informative and entertaining monologue of the area, homes, history and named some of the celebrities and well known people who live there. We went right out in the turning channel and had some great views of the cruise ships you don't normally see. The tour took about an hour and a half and the time flew by. This was a great way to spend an afternoon and I would highly recommend it.

We spent a very happy couple of hours on the Carrie B looking at the amazing millionaires homes along the Intracoastal Waterways of Fort Lauderdale. We also entered the area where the cruise ships docked. The commentary was good and informative. Excellent value
