Friendly staff, comfortable seating(open air or indoors), food and drink available. The tour of the New River area and of Fort Lauderdale's Rich and Famous was incredible. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Definitely a must see while in Fort Lauderdale. Parking was an issue so arrive early to find a place. Definitely need to follow the directions to find it, it is out of the way. Well worth the work, though!

The Carrie B Cruise was a romantic little tour of homes and real estate on the coastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale. I cannot speak of the other river cruises as we were trying our best to find a cruise to take (and quick) while on Vacation before we returned home. I can't remember what the price of the tickets were, but I want to guesstimate around 30ish per person. They had drinks and small snacks available for somewhat of a higher price ($8-9 for alcoholic drink) but you are on a river cruise in the middle of the water. This was a sweet little memory I'm glad I had. We ordered our tickets online from a smartphone and we were contacted by the ship captain a bit in advance to ensure we were still sailing with them (a nice touch to avoid waiting for people that don't show up). You get your picture taken and can purchase it on the way out of the ship--we bought ours (I think for $10) and we still have it hanging up in our house as a little reminder of the nice day we had! Extra Bonus: **We were even a little bit late and had trouble finding where to park and the captain lent us his parking pass so we wouldn't miss our cruise & could park on the street and not get a ticket from the cops! That was such a nice touch, Thank You!

Having taken this New River boat tour about 13 times since moving here in 2000, I am never bored or disappointed. Now, as a realtor, I recommend it as the best attraction for getting a glimpse of old Fort Lauderdale and the number of boaters from around the world who are attracted here. The up close view of the Oasis of the Seas or any cruise ship in port at the time is priceless. I've taken the water taxi and other river tours but Carrie B does the overall best narration and has the best refreshments to make the 1 1/2 hour trip truly enjoyable. They usually have information on any visiting mega yacht you see along the way. With the boat show in town now, it's really busy on the river! I usually can find a coupon in a vacation guide or somewhere that takes a little off the price, and as a big promoter, I feel like it's a terrific value. Walk up to the front of the upper deck when leaving dock and see if the Tarpon are riding the bow wake. You will not be disappointed.
