The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

We took a trip on the Carrie B to see the beautiful houses and yachts in Fort Lauderdale. The boat was clean and comfortable, but the best part was the narrator. He spoke very clearly, and he had so much in depth knowledge of the area. It was obvious that he enjoys his job and that he wants his passengers to enjoy the trip. We learned a lot about the area, and we had a great afternoon. We've sailed out of Port Everglades on Princess cruise ships many times, and we enjoyed seeing it from a different angle, and we learned a lot about the port that we didn't know. We highly recommend a trip on the Carrie B.

We were so happy to have chosen to go on the Carrie B. The staff was so friendly and knowledgable, kind and considerate. We felt like we mattered as people, not just as part of a business. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an enjoyable way to see some of the nicer homes in town or an afternoon on the water. I would consider going again on a future trip. A special thanks to Phil for the special accommodations!

We were on vacation and decided to try one of the boat tours that travel through Fort Lauderdale's intercostal waterways. The Carrie B departs several times a day - it's a classic old fashioned paddle wheel boat with an upper and lower deck. If you book your ticket online you can save yourself a few bucks with their online discount code. You don't even need to print tickets just show up and give them your name (they will give you a parking pass to park along the street where you board the boat too). It's a 90 minute tour and VERY safe as you stay on the intercostal waterways and only view the entrance to the Atlantic Ocean. The tour guide will point out all the multi-million dollar homes and yachts that belong to the who's who of Fort Lauderdale. It's a very enjoyable, smooth, safe, and fun tour with a unique view of Fort Lauderdale's "Life Styles of the Rich & Famous". The boat has restrooms, snack bar, and full bar service.
