This cruise was a really nice way to see the area from a different angle. I have been coming to. Fort Lauderdale for a few years and had never done a cruise. It was fun to see the enormous houses and all the yachts from the water. The guys on the Carrie B were knowledgable and very friendly. If you're looking for something fun and different, this is not to be missed.

We enjoyed our cruise through the waterways of Fort Lauderdale. The commentary was very interesting. I don't look with envy at all the waterside mansions and yachts, but it was fun to hear the stories about the people who own there. The company took your picture as you got on the boat, but there was no pressure to purchase. It was a pleasant 1 1/2 hours. Before or after the cruise, stroll through the Las Olas shops and have a nice lunch at Big City Tavern.

If you have some time before or after your cruise, give the Carrie B. a whirl. It's extremely interesting to see how the ".00009 Percenters" live. $25 million dollar homes with$50M yachts tied up out back. It's not extremely intimate, so don't expect to have the personal chat, but it really is a perfect way to get an overview of the canals, the homes the boats and how the upper crust lives. (as well as a couple of real dirtbags, but they'll get their just desserts before long.) Just around the corner from their dock is very good shopping, dining, drinking and people watching. (Las Olas neighborhood.) The guys were kind enough to hang onto our luggage while we were on the Carrie B, then long enough for us to go have lunch and stroll a bit. Very nice bunch of guys.
