The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

See Yachts and Homes of the Rich and Famous and ships from around the world in Port Everglades. What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

This was our second time on the Carrie B Cruise Ship tour (first time was in 2009), just like last time, we thoroughly enjoyed the excursion! The boat is clean and the tour guide is excellent, very entertaining. Its a beautiful way to spend a a few hours in Fort Lauderdale. The cost of the 1.5 hour tour is $20 per person (for adults) which seemed more than reasonable. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance from where you set sail which we enjoyed after the tour. I would highly recommend!!

We are traveling in an RV with our dog and are limited sometimes bc of that. The guys at Carrie B let us bring our puggle! We don't normally buy the pix that are for sale but they were only $10 and it came with a key chain pic. The color was not vivid but Brad emailed us the original. The cruise was fun and interesting. Give it a go!

We loved the Carrie B!!! And yes, I have taken water tours many, many times! I loved the simplicity of the tour - not too much information but enough to spark your interest. I asked for the best seats on the boat since we were the first ones there for the 11am tour. And I got them! My husband and I sat in the very front of the boat perched on the wooden chests that hold the life jackets! We were right underneath the captain of the boat, what a view...no stretching or straining to see! Maybe not the most comfortable but the view was worth! And yes, I purchased the picture/key chain for $10! The quality was 10 times better that the stack of pictures that I had purchased from the cruise ship that we had just disembarked! Loved the location, walked over to the Cheesecake Factory after the cruise and had lunch! Perfect morning! I did want to mention that our hotel tried to send us to a different water cruise vendor and I stood firm on the Carrie B because of the reviews! Hint to the marketing department at the Carrie B: Work with your local hotels! They are hurting your business!
