Just got back from a wonderful weekend in Fort Lauderdale. We decided to take the Carrie B Cruise since it was ranked so highly on TripAdivsor. I thought it was just okay. The captain was very knowledgeable but it was at times hard to hear him over the loud crowd on the top deck. The boat itself was just okay- basic plastic chairs on the top- nothing fancy, but I guess you get what you pay for. All in all, it was nice to be on the water and see the absolutely gorgeous homes! Also, the buy one get one coupon deal is only "in season"- they don't run that promo year round.

Thank you for taking time to review our attraction, we appreciate the feedback. I see that you enjoyed your visit to Fort Lauderdale, and we hope you return soon. Naturally, we want our guests to be as comfortable as possible for their tour, however, we are also a USCG certified passenger vessel and must comply by their rules. The chairs you mentioned are manufactured by Virco, the largest commercial seating manufacturer in the US. The US Coast Guard requires those chairs to "gang" or connect together. We also chose chairs that do not "cook" in the hot Florida sun, so you will not burn yourself when you sit in them. You must not have noticed the very nicely padded banquet style Virco chairs under our canopy, but those "cook" in the sun so we keep them under shade. Our lower deck features "bistro style" wicker chairs for maximum comfort. With 3 types of chairs available, we do offer great seating versatility, but I know we can't please all the people, all the time, and for that I apologize for your discomfort.

We boarded the Carrie B for a 3pm. cruise. There weren't many other people on board. I don't know what is normal, but it seemed like a light day for them. This was one of the best experiences we've had in Fort Lauderdale. The captain, who was the tour guide, was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and quite funny as well. We got to see several of the nice river front homes in the Fort Lauderdale area as well as see the large cruise ships docked at Port Everglades. Their website has a coupon for $2 off. Highly Recommended!!!!!

The tour was time spent well. I got see Fort Lauderdale from the waterway. This is my first seeing it that way after 25 years of living in Fort Lauderdale. The information provided by the tour guide was extensive and engaging. I do recommend others to take this tour whither there are a resident or a traveler.
