What To Expect
1
Capitol Reef National Park
Join us for a drive through Capitol Reefs back country to a scenic paradise of desert landscapes in our luxury 4X4 vehicle through cathedrals, temples, buttes and hoodoos that will get you away from most all of the park’s visitors. We’ll ford the Fremont River and stop at the Bentonite Hills, walk around, take pictures, talk about the geology and history of the area, stop at viewpoints along the way and enjoy the solitude, visit the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon, see geological oddities such as Glass Mountain and ancient lava flows. This trip has tons of photographic opportunities and is missed by most visitors to Capitol Reef due to its remote location and often times challenging roads. If you're looking for a Jeep tour of Capitol Reef give us a shot, we don't drive Jeep but have more comfortable luxury vehicle to accommodate larger groups, enjoy the air conditioning on those hot summer days or enclosed SUV with a heater for the chilly days! We do winter tours as well.

What a wonderful time we had with Jason, our guide and owner of the company. Very professional, knowledgeable about the local geology, and the many destinations in and around Capitol Reef National Park. I enjoyed an off road scenic tour as well as a fun hiking day. I highly recommend this company and it doesn’t hurt helping a veteran to boot.

Did the 1/2 day Cathedral Valley tour. It was a perfect way to get to see the park. The tour goes off road and into spots you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise. Jason was super knowledgeable and showed us some unique spots others don’t know about.

This was a blind date, a referral from a different and unknown website, that turned out to be just what I wanted...sights in and around Capitol Reef Park that were ideal for photography. Jason has lived and worked in the area for decades, interrupted by more than twenty years in the military. Among his many assignments, he taught photography to Seal Team 6. We started out before sunrise and ended up 9 hours later with a late lunch. Breakfast and lunch were at restaurants I never would have found. During the trip I learned much about the history and geology of the area that Jason loves, more than I could possibly remember. Monsoon-like rains had been in the area for days, so Jason's 4-wheel, snorkel- equipped Toyota and his driving skills were challenged frequently. In fact, we could not get to one area he had in mind.
