Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

I read every review and our tour was a major disappointment. We started 10 minutes late and finished 20 minutes early. The guide had only been doing tours for less than 3 weeks and was not ready. She was only her phone looking for pictures to show. If a guide wants to show pictures, they should be right there. But, I'm not there to look at pictures on someone's phone. I did receive a customer contact phone call after the tour and I was impressed by their offer to provide me another opportunity to tour. Unfortunately, I have not seen those tickets come through my email in the week after our conversation.

I loved this tour so much!! I did the 10:00 pm Tour with Lance. It would be a good tour, had someone else done it. BUT Lance, makes this tour AMAZING!!! He is quick witted, and entertaining. He is very knowledgeable!!! I say if you do this tour request him!!!
