Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

I love going places and learning things about the area but honestly the most interesting stuff isn't exactly what they tell you on most day time tours. But on this death and depravity night tour your learn all about the seedy side of Charlestons past and it was awesome. Don had high energy and a great sense of humor. He made each story really come to life and added so many small details that made each story really entertaining! I highly suggest taking this tour and if you can get Don as your guide EVEN BETTER!

Lance was an excellent tour guide. he was well informed, had very interesting facts, some were very colorful, he catered to the audience that was with him, he made sure his group was satisfied before moving on to the next item. he interacted with the group, if they had comments. he made sure we were all safe, from hazards of the night. he was animated in his story telling, had us all waiting anxiously for the rest of the story, even had an ipad to pull up visuals to document his tales. he was able to personalize many of sites we stopped at. I highly recommend this tour, and would take the same one again.
