Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon
Stop by The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, one of the most haunted buildings in Charleston. Since the late 1600s, the Exchange and Dungeon have existed in one form or another. Once a walled prison, it has been a haven for those seeking freedom as well as a dark and gruesome spot for prisoners caught on the wrong side of authority.

The tour was awesome. It was history mingled with mystery. Seeing places that are haunted for good reason & learning the ghostly and seedy history of Charleston is just what I was looking for. Lance was our tour guide and he made the whole tour. As he walked us back to our car (everyone else had parted ways), he even showed us two more historic and important sites. Thank you!

Who could resist a tour with a name like ā€œDeath and Depravityā€?! So I was eager and interested to hear what Charleston has tucked away behind closed doors and this tour did not disappoint! And what made the tour so fabulous was the tour guide, Lance. The depth of his knowledge and his storytelling abilities will keep anyone and everyone intrigued. He is entertaining, funny and charming. You could not ask for a better tour guide or tour!

Don was our tour guide and provided a very informative experience, full of fun / terror / history / excitement! He certainly has passion for telling a story as well as for the historic city of Charleston! I highly recommend.
