We visit Charleston's haunted "Bloody Alley" and talk about its history of dueling and the tragic deaths that occurred there.

This was such a great experience! We lucked out and were the only ones on the tour that night. He could have easily cancelled on us since it was just the two of us, but didn't and made us feel like total VIPs! Mike was so knowledgeable about the history and masterfully weaved the stories together. I haven't had cold chills like that from being creeped out in a long time lol. Would take the tour again and am looking forward to listening to his podcast "pleasing terrors", and reading more about some of the people and places we discussed. Thanks for a great night!

We had a walking ghost tour with Mike last night. It was very clear that he was passionate about the historical aspect of each story and clearly did a ton of research on each tale. Mike’s tour is one of the best we’ve been on, spooky but also informational. We highly recommend this tour on a visit to Charleston!

We took the Pleasing Terrors walking tour with Mike Brown last night, and really enjoyed ourselves! He is an amazing story teller and we definitely had chills throughout the tour - especially my boyfriend, who is a bit of a scaredy cat. 😉 I appreciated how he tied more current sightings and experiences with the history and people that inspired them. He was very knowledgable about Charleston and its spooky past. We were engrossed in each tale he told. Much better than other tours which give you a quick overview of multiple places - I prefer quality over quantity! We went on the Bulldog haunted jail tour based on his stories and recommendation. We enjoyed that tour as well, but given the choice between the two - it's Pleasing Terrors all the way! Thank you Mike!
