Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour

Overview
This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

I was on vacation with my 13 year old and she wanted to SUP since she was doing it back home all summer. We booked a tour with Luke. He was awesome. Great personality, very knowledgeable about the river beds and river life. I actually learned about oysters and how they filter water and passed that info onto friends! We had a baby dolphin follow us and saw jellyfish. It was a brutally hot day and we were paddling against the current and tons of wind so we took a little break. We loved it. I had never been paddle boarding and Luke was very patient. I never fell once! Woo hoo!! Would totally do it again next time we visit. Bonus? We got good food recommendations😀

Have experienced two tours with Charleston SUP in Folly beach. Both have been excellent. This time we made it to the Sand bar and were able to experience a group of dolphins strand feeding 15 feet away from us. The entire family had a blast!

Aloha Brian, Thanks for great review, the sand bar tour is our private beach tour that can only be accessed at Low tide. That's also the best time to see dolphins strand feeding. Let your family know we look forward to taking them all back out on the water soon!
